Center for Discovery Maitland

Center for Discovery Maitland is an eating disorder intensive outpatient treatment center for patients 10 and over and of all genders. This outpatient treatment center opened in August 2016 and prides itself on its wide range of therapeutic specialties, including internal family systems, psychodrama, feminist approach, LGBTQIA+ informed care, HeartMath (biofeedback), and reality-based therapy. Treatment modalities we offer include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

In addition to receiving evidence-based therapies, patients all have the opportunity to put “joyful” back into movement through yoga and other activities. Discovery’s specialized binge eating disorder (BED) program, Path to Peace, is also offered at this location. This treatment center emphasizes a body positive approach and Health at Every Size® (HAES®).

Conveniently located in Maitland, just off Highways 414 and I-4, this facility is easily accessible to the Greater Orlando Area, beautiful Winter Park and Altamonte Springs.
